There are a number of grants
and funding opportunities available to support your school community.

hsbc-grants Healthy Schools BC Regional Grants

Healthy Schools BC Regional Grants support education and health-sector partners to work together on initiatives that support healthy schools, with a focus on promoting mental health and well-being, and Indigenous ways of wellness.

Who Can Apply?
Healthy Schools BC Regional Grants are available to:

  • School Districts
  • Regional Groups of Public Schools (2 or more)
  • Regional Groups of Independent Schools (2 or more)
  • Regional Groups of First Nations Schools (2 or more)

Important: Regional Groups mean a minimum of two schools working collaboratively in a given school district. An application that involves a single school will not be considered.

Grant applicants must work collaboratively with their Health Partner in submitting their application. More information on Health Partners is contained in the Application Package.

How to Apply
Simply download the Application Package, read instructions and answer all questions.

hsbc-fn-grants Healthy Schools BC First Nations School Grants

Healthy Schools BC First Nations School Grants are intended to support First Nations schools in implementing Indigenous ways of wellness across a whole-school environment.

Indigenous ways of wellness recognize the mental, emotional, spiritual and physical as facets of a healthy, well, and balanced life. By nurturing all of these facets together, it can create a holistic level of well-being in which all four areas are strong and healthy (First Nations Perspective on Health and Wellness).
