Farm to School Guide - A Fresh Crunch in School Lunch

Farm to School is a school-based program that connects schools (K-12) and local farms. The goal of the program is to ensure children have access to fresh, local, nutritious, safe and culturally appropriate foods while at school. Farm to School programs aim to improve student nutrition while providing educational opportunities about food and the local food system.

The BC Farm to School Guide is a step-by-step guide to plan, implement, and sustain a variety of Farm to School program models. Audience: school principals, school meal coordinators, chefs, teachers, parents, farmers, community nutritionists, and community developers - any local farm to school enthusiast.
