The Physical Activity Line

The Physical Activity Line (PAL), is British Columbia's primary physical activity counselling service and your FREE phone line and online resource to active, healthy living.

We are your source for trusted physical activity information and professional guidance to help you become more physically active and lead a healthier lifestyle. We also provide evidenced-based resources to support health professionals, teachers, as well as community health and fitness programs.

We are staffed by nationally recognized qualified exercise professionals certified through the Health & Fitness Program of BC. Our qualified exercise professionals have undergraduate and/or graduate degrees in exercise science and advanced training in clinical exercise prescription. Our staff are sanctioned and specially trained to prescribe exercise to people of all ages and abilities, including individuals with chronic medical conditions.

We look forward to working hard to assist you in increasing your (or your clients) health through physical activity education, prescription, motivation, and continuous positivism.

Together We Can!

Sincerely,

The PAL Team.
