McCreary Next Steps

The Next Steps is an interactive workshop or workshop series designed to take the results of McCreary Centre Society research back to young people across the province. Using what they learn about youth health and protective factors, youth design (and often deliver) a project to improve health in their community. McCreary staff facilitate the workshops and are available to support youth through the process of creating and delivering a community project. Funding for youth to carry out their community projects is available.

Next Steps curriculum is also available for local adult allies (eg teachers, youth workers) who may wish to facilitate a Next Steps project with youth in their school or community.
