RespectED: Violence & Abuse Prevention

The Canadian Red Cross, through its RespectED: Violence & Abuse Prevention program, has worked on preventing violence against children since 1984. RespectED programs have reached millions of people in Canada and are now also being implemented by other Red Cross and Red Crescent National Societies in different parts of the world.

RespectED programs address violence against children, relationship violence, bullying and harassment, and help organizations create safe environments for children in their care.

RespectED programs for children, youth and adults are available in multiple languages, a variety of delivery formats (including in person and online) and are adaptable for local circumstances.
